As a core member of the Blockchain and Virtual Asset Practice at Infusion Lawyers, Gabriel advises a number of global crypto brands in and with significant presence in Nigeria. Gabriel is a former member of the Policy and Regulations Committee at Stakeholders in Blockchain Technology Association of Nigeria (SiBAN) where he contributed to policy and regulation of blockchain technology in Nigeria, and continues to drive web3 awareness in Nigeria through written advocacy. Additionally, he was a member of the blockchain research team that contributed to the first Mondaq International Comparative Guide on Blockchain (for Nigeria) and he received commendation for his work. Gabriel also works as an external counsel to a Web3 payment-solutions company where he helps take care of legal compliance.
Gabriel also plays in the XR space. At AV/VR Africa–an African community of Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR) creators, professionals, and enthusiasts–where he interacts with XR creatives, Gabriel has mentored startups from about 15 African countries.
Working in a modern law firm that increasingly services global brands where international business and cross-border trade laws, regulations, and business climates largely determine our legal advisory, Gabriel has earned himself a place with the International Trade Council (ITC) Nigeria. Blending his interest in international business and trade, Gabriel currently doubles as the Secretary of ITC Nigeria and Chairperson of its Membership Committee.
Gabriel’s keen interest in understanding clients’ business, his appreciation of the intersection of law with technology, and dexterity in organizational leadership place him on a spectrum that enables him to meet the demands of today’s clients.
