Tobechukwu has considerable experience advising clients on establishing foreign businesses in Nigeria; and advising clients on Nigerian laws, regulations, and policies affecting business operations.

 Tobechukwu provides key advisory support involving several international and local technology companies, including crypto and blockchain companies. He also provides reliable innovative legal and extra-legal services to local and foreign entrepreneurs, innovators and firms. This involves exploring, protecting, and maximizing innovations through legal solutions to help businesses succeed.

He is a member of the firm’s Corporate-Commercial, Intellectual Property, and Technology Practice Groups. He currently leads the firm’s office in Abuja FCT, Nigeria, and is a key member representing clients in interfaces with regulators.

With professional interest in electronic sports (esports), new media, and startup funding, Tobechukwu has been developing expertise in these areas. He currently drives the firm’s Esports, New Media & Entertainment as well as  the Private Equity & Venture Capital initiatives. 

Tobechukwu is a member of Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) ICT and Entertainment Committees; Stakeholders in Blockchain Association of Nigeria (SiBAN); Esports Nigeria; Lagos State Esports Association (LSEA); and African Esports Association (AESA). Tobechukwu is also a certified mediator and conciliator, a trained Data Protection Officer (DPO), an esports enthusiast, and a 2D whiteboard animator.
