Partnership: Esports Nigeria partners Infusion Lawyers to provide legal support for growth of esports in Nigeria.

Esports Nigeria has partnered with Infusion Lawyers to provide legal support to the body. The partnership was concluded today 8 October 2019 after a meeting of the minds by both parties.

Esports Nigeria, founded by Emmanuel Oyelakin, is a body set up to build Nigeria’s esports ecosystem, bringing players in the esports industry together for mutual benefits and to promote their collective interests as esports grows in Nigeria.

Infusion Lawyers, a specialized intellectual property and technology law firm in the knowledge economy and digital age, is happy to welcome Esports Nigeria on board.

Speaking about the partnership in Lagos, Mr Oyelakin expressed his delight about the partnership. In his words, “On behalf of all of us at Esports Nigeria, I would like to appreciate Infusion Lawyers for this partnership and also officially welcome Infusion Lawyers to this partnership with Esports Nigeria. United by the goal of growing the esports industry in Nigeria, we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership.”

Infusion Lawyers’ Lead Partner Senator Ihenyen is equally delighted about the partnership and confident that the law firm will be able to add value to the good work that Esports Nigeria has started.

“For us at Infusion Lawyers, we are always happy to be a partner in innovation. Esports Nigeria represents to us the door to unleashing the exciting opportunities in esports which Nigeria is yet to fully explore.”

On the big picture, Mr Ihenyen emphasized that “[i]n today’s digital economy, the growth and development of esports in Nigeria will not only positively engage our creative and mobile youth population but also empower them in a market that is largely untapped. Particularly as an intellectual property and technology law firm, supporting the growth of the esports industry in Nigeria aligns with our mission to support innovation wherever they are.”

The mission of Infusion Lawyers is “to grow, protect, and support innovation by providing the legal infrastructure innovators need to maximize value, create opportunities, and open up new possibilities”.

Both parties look forward to a successful partnership.
